Project Manager - Construction

About This Role

Manage commercial construction projects for a general contractor and design-build company, overseeing all processes from estimating to project closeout and ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage all construction processes including estimating, contractor buyout, contracting, budget allocation, and cost management
• Oversee scheduling, material procurement, and quantity tracking
• Handle conflict resolution and ensure meeting project deadlines
• Coordinate with project superintendents and external consultants
• Ensure overall client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide leadership across multiple construction projects including budgeting, scheduling, permitting, construction execution, and project closeout
• Prepare material estimates for customer quotes, including hard bid and conceptual estimating
• Review shop drawings prior to approval
• Issue RFIs as required and expedite shop drawing approvals

Requirements

• Seasoned professional with strong construction knowledge in project management and estimating materials and systems
• Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role
• Ability to contribute effectively in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to strategically plan projects
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of successful experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager Estimator
