Chief Boiler Engineer

About This Role

Oversee a modern boiler room with new equipment and state-of-the-art controls, assign tasks to a team of boiler engineers, and ensure compliance with inspection records and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This role involves managing daily operations and periodic inspections of plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a Modern Boiler Room, with new equipment and state of the art controls
• Hand out assignments to the 3 other boiler engineers
• Verify inspection records are correct
• Perform daily assigned tasks
• Conduct periodic inspections and checklists on plant equipment and systems
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Communicate effectively with all departments
• Meet daily deadlines

Requirements

• Chief Boiler Engineer Certification/License
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Ability to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a wet environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
