Project Engineer II

About This Role

The Project Engineer II is responsible for assisting in the management and execution of construction projects. This role involves collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and monitoring of project schedules
• Prepare and manage RFIs (Requests for Information) effectively throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate and review change orders to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Manage the submittal process, ensuring all materials and equipment meet project requirements
• Assist in budget preparation and tracking to ensure project stays within financial constraints
• Maintain project documentation, including reports, correspondence, and meeting minutes
• Communicate with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any concerns

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project engineering role, preferably in construction
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, RFI management, and change order procedures
