Project Engineer

About This Role

Serve as a 12N Horizontal Construction Engineer for the U.S. Army Reserves, operating heavy construction equipment to build and maintain military infrastructure. This role supports national defense and emergency response efforts by ensuring vital transportation routes and operational success.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently, including bulldozers, tractors, backhoes, cranes, excavators, and road graders
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and vehicles
• Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects on military sites
• Analyze construction site requirements and provide technical support
• Transport heavy equipment between different locations as needed
• Ensure all construction activities comply with safety standards and regulations
• Collaborate with engineers and other military personnel to complete projects on time and within budget

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
• Between the ages of 17 and 34
• Possess a High School Diploma or GED
• Meet the Army's tattoo guidelines
• No major law violations or criminal record
• Free from medical concerns that could impair duty performance
