Project Director

About This Role

This Project Director will lead complex transportation infrastructure projects focusing on Transit Facilities, ADA Improvements, and State-of-Good-Repair. The role involves managing client relationships, driving business development, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Grow, nurture, and strengthen external relationships with key clients, contractors, business partners, and competitors
• Drive joint initiatives and use networks to influence and close deals
• Oversee the delivery of complex projects (e.g., design-build and GEC), ensuring they meet quality standards and client expectations
• Act as a role model and ambassador for the company, representing the brand, vision, and value proposition
• Build and maintain strong networks with clients including public agencies and/or contractors
• Manage client accounts and create a client-centric vision for business development
• Lead proposals and business development efforts
• Establish and nurture an innovative, collaborative, and high-performing work environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• P.E. or R.A. License in New York State
• Minimum 15 years' experience in the transportation market
• Experience in the development of rail infrastructure projects
• Direct experience with project management
• Direct experience with business development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a preference for a master's degree
• Minimum of 15 years' experience in the transportation market, with direct experience in project management and business development and experience in the development of rail infrastructure projects.
