About This Role

This Program Manager role drives high-impact technology initiatives to transform Starbucks' supply chain and retail operations through intelligent, scalable systems. The role is deeply embedded in engineering and product delivery, leading efforts to build transformational platforms for Source to Pay and Procure to Pay processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional technology programs from roadmap planning through deployment
  • Apply expert-level program and project lifecycle management practices to drive execution, manage risks, and deliver scalable solutions
  • Navigate enterprise systems and vendor relationships by managing external partners, reviewing statements of work, and ensuring technical deliverables meet business goals
  • Communicate with clarity and influence across all levels, facilitating decision-making, resolving ambiguity, and driving alignment between business and technology stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience leading the tactical execution of multi-disciplinary technology initiatives
  • Expert-Level Program and Project Lifecycle Management including risk management, financial management, change control, and delivery of enterprise-scale solutions
  • Strong Leadership and Communication Skills (ability to lead by example, navigate ambiguity, facilitate difficult conversations, influence stakeholders)
  • Technical Fluency Across Enterprise Systems (understanding of solution architecture, systems integration, data migration, deployment processes)
  • Experience Managing External Vendors and Suppliers (reviewing statements of work, negotiating change orders)
  • Business Domain Knowledge in Sourcing and Procurement processes (familiarity with direct and indirect sourcing and contract management practices)

Qualifications

  • Experience leading the tactical execution of multi-disciplinary technology initiatives and complex, multi-phase programs
