Program Lead Air Force Culture And Language Center'S Language Enabled Airmen Program

About This Role

This role manages a large team of instructors and staff for the Air Force Culture and Language Center's (AFCLC) Language Enabled Airmen Program (LEAP) eMentor Course Delivery and Management contract. The Program Lead ensures the successful delivery of Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture (LREC) training through a synchronous virtual school platform.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture (LREC) training delivered through the LEAP eMentor program
• Oversee and supervise a large team composed of language instructors and other program staff
• Manage an instructor roster and keep up to date with instructor information
• Ensure eMentors are developed in the areas of language proficiency, instructional methodology, educational technology, assessment design, and effective language learning strategies
• Work and communicate with Government POCs and the Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) platform technical lead
• Ensure all required information (e.g., weekly reports) is sent to the Government in accordance with specified deadlines
• Develop monthly status reports for submission within ten business days after the end of each month
• Track hours and availability of funds during the contract period of performance

Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ experience managing a foreign language distance learning program
• Oversight of recruitment, development, and scheduling of foreign language instructors across ten or more languages
• Oversight of staff and student use of online, synchronous learning management systems

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience managing a foreign language distance learning program

Nice to Have

• Experience in foreign language instruction
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
