This role will support program managers and cost account managers by providing financial and administrative support and analysis, with a focus on Earned Value Management tasks such as establishing Work Breakdown Structure, assessing performance, and supporting reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Interface with program managers, functional management, and cost account managers to provide financial and administrative support and analysis
- Establish Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled
- Assess and maintain objective performance criteria
- Maintain and justify estimates to complete
- Support internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis
- Prepare budget baselines and maintain cost/schedule integration
- Prepare budgets, schedules, and ETC/EAC
- Perform financial performance analyses and visibility reporting
- Assist in the preparation and submittal of monthly CDRLs such as IPMR
- Support variance analysis reports
- Facilitate and support program monthly rhythm process
- Incorporate baseline changes into EVM system utilizing Deltec Cobra, S4 SAP, OLAP, wInsight, MS Excel/Project/Powerpoint
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years experience in financial analysis, business management, education, communications or industry related fields OR Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work on site daily in Redondo Beach, CA
- Ability to use financial systems
- Ability to learn basic understanding of EVMS principles and hands-on cost performance reporting/analysis skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years experience in financial analysis, business management, education, communications or industry related fields OR Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting
- 2+ years experience in financial analysis, business management, education, communications or industry related fields with a Bachelor's degree, or a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting.

- Understanding of Government Contracting and Business Processes
- Understanding of Business Systems (SAP/Cobra)
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
