Professional Security Officer

About This Role

This role will provide security services by conducting patrols, resolving conflicts, and reporting safety issues within a team environment. Officers interact frequently with clients and guests while maintaining a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Resolve and de-escalate conflicts
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises, in various weather conditions and terrain
• Interact frequently with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity
• Provide detailed report writing
• Work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
• Standard computer/technology skills
• Ability to interact with customers in a calm and professional manner
• Great attention to detail and ability to remain alert throughout the shift
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and appropriate escalation
• Willingness to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 shifts (open availability desired)
• Strong professional appearance
• Valid driver’s license
• Driving record meeting company and/or insurance standards
• Impeccable customer service skills
• Team leadership skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
• Prior Security or Military experience preferred
