Play an integral part in the production process by setting up, operating, and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure efficient operation and high-quality product output while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate manufacturing equipment and powered equipment
- Monitor machine operations and production quality to ensure compliance with standards
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery as needed
- Document production data and maintenance activities accurately
- Follow safety protocols to promote a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team setting
- Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math used in the manufacturing process
- Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, and bend throughout the entire shift
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment that is hot and humid in the Summer/Fall
- Ability to work daily overtime, weekend work and various shifts depending on workload
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment physical and drug screen
