Production Worker

About This Role

Operate and maintain production line equipment, ensuring efficient product flow and adherence to GMP, safety, and quality standards. This role supports America's food distribution system by preparing and packaging products.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production line equipment according to procedures
• Monitor the production process and assist with product preparation and packaging
• Ensure all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and quality standards are met
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training
• Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment and tools
• Stack product on pallets
• Utilize box and bag makers
• Accurately operate the cheese sealer
• Operate pallet stacker, stacking 25-pound cases onto a pallet
• Set up and change over metal detection & box taper

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to read and comprehend documents, simple instructions, and product labels
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and use hands to grip regularly
• Ability to work in extreme cold (below 0 F degrees) temperatures
• Strong work ethic
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
• Flexibility to work days, nights, or weekends

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Entry level position, 0-3 months related experience or training
