Production Worker

About This Role

This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure efficient production and high-quality products. It involves monitoring output, troubleshooting issues, and adhering to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, calibrate and operate manufacturing equipment/powered equipment
• Monitor machine operations and production quality to ensure compliance with standards
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery as needed
• Document production data and maintenance activities accurately
• Follow safety protocols to promote a safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team setting
• Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations
• Ability to read, speak and write in English
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, and bend throughout the entire shift
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment that is hot and humid in the Summer/Fall
• Ability to work daily overtime, weekend work and various shifts depending on workload
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment physical and drug screen
