This Production Technician role supports the manufacturing, packaging, and quality control of cannabis products for wholesale distribution, ensuring efficient production and compliance with quality standards and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the production of cannabis products including flower, pre-rolls, concentrates, and edibles in accordance with SOPs and production schedules
- Operate production and packaging equipment such as scales, mixers, labelers, and filling machines safely and accurately
- Measure, mix, and handle materials according to formulation guidelines and production requirements
- Package finished products into compliant containers with accurate labeling
- Perform visual inspections and quality control checks to identify defects or inconsistencies
- Maintain inventory accuracy by logging material usage and reporting discrepancies
- Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and sanitized in accordance with GMP and state regulations
- Follow all safety protocols related to equipment operation and product handling
- Complete production logs, batch records, and required documentation accurately and on time
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to follow procedures and maintain compliance in a regulated environment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least one year of experience in a production, warehouse, or fast-paced environment strongly preferred.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in cannabis production, manufacturing, or packaging
- Knowledge of cannabis compliance and manufacturing best practices
