Production Technician

About This Role

This Production Technician role supports the manufacturing, packaging, and quality control of cannabis products for wholesale distribution, ensuring efficient production and compliance with quality standards and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of cannabis products including flower, pre-rolls, concentrates, and edibles in accordance with SOPs and production schedules
• Operate production and packaging equipment such as scales, mixers, labelers, and filling machines safely and accurately
• Measure, mix, and handle materials according to formulation guidelines and production requirements
• Package finished products into compliant containers with accurate labeling
• Perform visual inspections and quality control checks to identify defects or inconsistencies
• Maintain inventory accuracy by logging material usage and reporting discrepancies
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and sanitized in accordance with GMP and state regulations
• Follow all safety protocols related to equipment operation and product handling
• Complete production logs, batch records, and required documentation accurately and on time
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to follow procedures and maintain compliance in a regulated environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least one year of experience in a production, warehouse, or fast-paced environment strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in cannabis production, manufacturing, or packaging
• Knowledge of cannabis compliance and manufacturing best practices
