Production Support Technician

About This Role

This role involves supporting production efforts by managing product inventory, including receiving, storing, picking, packaging, and shipping, while ensuring adherence to company policies and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Sort, distribute, and shelf/store components for job assignments
• Prepare and package materials for shipment or transfer to other company sites or vendors
• Create accurate labeling for shipping
• Move, unload, stage, and store materials utilizing lifting equipment such as fork trucks and pallet jacks
• Perform inventory cycle counts
• Assist with assembling metalwork and handling sheet metal goods
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
• Assist with routine shop and equipment maintenance
• Cross-train and support other sections of the company as needed

• Ability to interpret blueprint diagrams
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to pass certification to use of lifting/moving equipment such as a pallet jack and fork truck
• High dedication to quality of results to avoid rework

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 year of previous Inventory experience preferred

Nice to Have

• OSHA10 certification
• CPR certification
• Forklift experience and/or certification
• AutoCAD experience
