About This Role

This Product Owner role at Safran Test Cells oversees product planning and marketing, managing the product lifecycle from conception to end-of-life. The position defines product vision, gathers requirements, and collaborates with various teams to deliver successful products, drive revenue, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the product market and relevant regulations and standards
  • Develop and manage customer requirements to define product strategy and roadmap
  • Oversee development teams to drive innovation and achievement of the product strategy
  • Be an expert in the competitive marketplace
  • Partner with stakeholders and customers to inform product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization
  • Define and execute go-to-market plan, ensuring product management, marketing, and sales success
  • Develop and maintain tracking and reporting of product performance
  • Develop and oversee product end-of-life strategies and plans
  • Collaborate with Purchasing teams to identify supply chain strategy
  • Collaborate with Maintenance and Services to develop service offerings
  • Collaborate with Operations and Engineering during design, installation, and maintenance phases
  • Participate in technical reviews
  • Be the focal point for product issues during factory tests or on site, coordinating resources for resolution
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement, providing recommendations and implementing enhancements
  • Actively participate in the quoting process, design reviews, and other internal/external meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in product management within an international company
  • Experience with product lifecycle management
  • Experience with go-to-market strategies
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration with sales, engineering, marketing, and customer support teams
  • Advanced leadership capabilities
  • Deep technical, operational, analytical, and project management expertise
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Familiarity with product management tools and methodologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, or related discipline)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant industry, with a proven track record of success. Demonstrated professional experience in product management within an international company, including direct involvement in product lifecycle management, go-to-market strategies, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, engineering, marketing, and customer support teams.
