This role involves sorting, displaying, and replenishing fresh produce while maintaining the department's overall environment. The clerk will provide assistance to members, ensure product quality, and maintain cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities
- Sort, display, remove, and replenish fresh fruits and vegetables in the produce department
- Provide assistance to Members through product knowledge and customer service
- Ensure all produce meets or exceeds company quality standards
- Inspect, rotate, and store produce upon delivery, ensuring optimal freshness and variety
- Maintain the produce reserve stock area by dating and rotating back stock and organizing daily
- Clean and sanitize all produce equipment, display fixtures, and areas
- Generate signage for produce goods and perform price check functions
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
Nice to Have
- Work experience in a produce department
- Knowledge of fruit and vegetables including seasonal items
