About This Role

This Procurement Specialist role focuses on managing service center inventory levels and supporting supply goals for a leading industrial metal products provider. The position is essential for driving efficiency and supporting the company's commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory for multiple locations for MRP requirements to prescribed financial targets
  • Manage inventory requirements for contract business, including integration with the sales team
  • Develop sourcing of materials for client-specific requirements in a timely manner
  • Administer data tables used in the automation of purchasing activities
  • Manage all aspects of sourcing including maintenance of purchasing documents and analysis of the supply chain

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years of purchasing experience
  • Proficient in MS Office including Access
  • Time management skills
  • Strong Analytic skills, including electronic data management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years of purchasing experience preferably in the Metals industry

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the Metals industry
  • Knowledge of SAP software
