PRN Oral Surgery Assistant (Traveling)

About This Role

Support the Dentist during treatments, exams, and patient discussions as a Traveling Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). This role involves performing general RDA duties in collaboration with team members, focusing on quality customer service and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with consults
• Set-up sterile room
• Load/Unload OS equipment
• Manage equipment inventory
• Set-up rooms with assigned helper
• Perform sterile procedures
• Conduct Pre-op and Post-op Panos
• Escort patients out
• Flip rooms
• Perform 4-handed assisting
• Assist chairside for oral surgeon
• Monitor patients before, during and after oral surgery procedures

Requirements

• Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant Licensing preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Flexible and innovative
• High engagement
• Strong demonstration of task completion and dedication to detail

• Prompt and timely with work schedule
