PRN CT Technologist (CT Tech)

About This Role

The CT Technologist provides direct patient care by applying diagnostic imaging skills using CT scanning equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients at Maryview Medical Center. This role involves performing CT procedures, positioning patients, and administering contrast agents.

Responsibilities

• Confirm that all pertinent patient and procedural data is correct
• Perform computed tomography procedures
• Properly position and immobilize patients on CT scanning cradles
• Make radiation exposures by energizing scanner
• Perform intravenous injections and administer oral, rectal, and IV radiographic contrast agents specific to procedures
• Assist the radiologist with biopsies and drainage procedures
• Maintain a working knowledge of all CT IT systems, including Radiant and PACS
• Participate in on call rotation and timeout as required

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association

Qualifications

• Associate's from an ARRT accredited institute

Nice to Have

• 1 year of experience as a CT or Rad Tech
• EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience
• Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) experience
• Associate's from an ARRT accredited institute
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologist Technologists (ARRT)
• State Licensure
