Lead growth initiatives for Gusto Retirement, focusing on driving adoption and engagement through strategic planning, experimentation, and execution of product improvements. This role involves setting a long-term vision, identifying new product opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally.
Responsibilities
- Lead growth initiatives across Gusto Retirement, owning key funnels and levers that increase adoption, engagement, and retention for SMBs and their employees.
- Set a long-term growth vision and strategy, defining key problems and a roadmap for solutions.
- Identify new product opportunities/JTBD that unlock step-function growth and expand how Gusto serves SMBs.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Ops/Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and Finance to align on strategy and deliver results.
- Define KPIs, baselines, and instrumentation, running rigorous experiments and reviews to improve customer outcomes and business health.
- Drive execution with urgency and high standards, unblocking the team as needed and utilizing AI as a co-builder for rapid iteration.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or the Fintech/Regtech space
- Experience building and scaling products in high growth startups and highly regulated domains
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business problems into clear, concise product requirements
- Proficiency in SQL
- Curiosity and a passion for fintech and financial products
- Comfortable with ambiguity; track record of using customer insights and data to establish clear product goals and priorities
- Strategic platform thinker with the ability to balance the big picture while diving deep into details and making quick decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- 8+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or the Fintech/Regtech space
