About This Role

Join a team responsible for the testing, delivery, and installation of satellite ground station hardware for a leading defense contractor. This role involves domestic and international travel to customer sites for installation and upgrades.

Responsibilities

  • Test and deliver satellite ground station hardware to domestic and international customers
  • Install and troubleshoot RF and digital hardware
  • Operate in a team environment and collaborate across engineering disciplines
  • Coordinate with internal and external customers
  • Prepare and present work results
  • Support test planning, test execution, sell-off, and post-delivery support for multiple off-site locations
  • Solve challenging critical digital and RF subsystem issues
  • Perform Acceptance Testing for Mission Assurance, Customers, and Technical Representatives
  • Provide content for design reviews, test readiness reviews, and End Item Data Package review

Requirements

  • STEM Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of hardware engineering experience (Level 3) or 9+ years (Level 4)
  • Demonstrated hardware testing experience at board, unit, or subsystem level
  • Experience in an electronic test environment verifying specification requirements
  • Previous experience as an electrical engineering hardware designer
  • Active U.S. Government security clearance (Secret, SCI, or DoE Q)

Qualifications

  • STEM Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of hardware engineering experience (Level 3); STEM Bachelor's Degree with 9+ years of hardware engineering experience (Level 4)
  • 5+ years of hardware engineering experience at Level 3, or 9+ years at Level 4, with demonstrated hardware testing experience at board, unit, or subsystem level.

Nice to Have

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or STEM
  • Experience presenting to technical leadership
  • Experience designing, developing, and delivering ground system hardware
  • Experience in analog, RF, or digital test set development and testing
  • Experience with ground antenna subsystems
  • Experience with hardware installs at a customer site
