Prime Air Maintenance Technician

About This Role

The Prime Air Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and routine service of drone aircraft, ensuring they conform to design specifications and are in safe operating condition. This role involves working with engineering and flight operations to maintain the drone fleet and adhere to FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities
• Show understanding of fleet performance metrics
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals

Requirements

• Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly
• Experience with common business applications and tools (i.e. Microsoft Office, ie. Word, Excel, etc.)

Nice to Have

• Experience in installing sub-assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files
• Experience with Robotics and Manufacturing Engineering
• Experience in the aviation industry
• Excellent business communication skills
