Prestige Beauty Advisor

About This Role

This role is responsible for maximizing prestige product sales by engaging guests, understanding their needs, and assisting them with product selection while maintaining store standards and providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales in the prestige category (color cosmetics, skincare, fragrance) by engaging guests and assisting with product selection.
• Ensure exceptional guest service by greeting, personalizing service, recommending products/services, and informing guests of promotions.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events.
• Stay informed on new and existing industry trends, products, and services.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment and collaborate with teammates.
• Participate in ongoing training for continuous professional development and prestige sales.
• Comply with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards.
• Maintain a replenished, signed, and faced prestige and iconic brand work area with clean testers.
• Maintain outstanding store operational standards including cleanliness of salesfloor and makeover stations.
• Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory, and processing shipment.
• Share the benefits of the guest loyalty program, credit, and the Ulta Beauty app.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.

Requirements

• Passion and significant competency for prestige products, guest service, and selling
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
