Prestige Beauty Advisor

About This Role

The Prestige Beauty Advisor is responsible for maximizing sales in the prestige beauty category (color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance) by engaging guests and assisting them with product selection. This position focuses on driving sales performance and providing exceptional guest service while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals for retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and omni-channel sales, with a specific focus on the prestige category.
• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting, engaging, and personalizing service for every guest, recommending products, and informing them of promotions.
• Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations for guests.
• Book and support the execution of services and in-store events to achieve prestige and iconic brand sales goals.
• Stay informed on new and existing industry trends, products, and services.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Adhere to Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
• Keep prestige and iconic brand work areas replenished, signed, faced, and ensure testers are clean and available.
• Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory, and processing shipments.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.

Requirements

• Passion and significant competency for prestige products, guest service, and selling
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
