Prestige Beauty Advisor

About This Role

This role involves maximizing sales in prestige beauty categories by engaging guests, understanding their needs, and assisting them with product selection. The Prestige Beauty Advisor will also maintain overall store standards and support the Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals for retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and omni-channel sales, with a focus on the prestige category.
• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and engaging guests, personalizing service, and recommending products/services.
• Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business.
• Participate in ongoing product training and education for continuous professional development.
• Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements

• Passion and significant competency for prestige product, guest service, and selling
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
