About This Role

This role involves preparing food items for lunch, dinner, and catering needs, ensuring all food and sanitation procedures are followed according to established menus and recipes for Barcadia Bar & Grill.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items from scratch for lunch, dinner, and/or catering use
• Review menus prior to preparation of food
• Assure that all food procedures are followed
• Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary
• Follow all sanitation guidelines
• Become familiar with new menu items/dishes

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 year of food preparation experience
• Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
• Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of food preparation experience required

Nice to Have

• Graduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training
• Experience with quantity food preparation
• Food Service Sanitation Certificate
