About This Role

This role involves developing and executing power and policy plans, as well as site location growth strategies for the company. The manager will be critically involved in strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making, engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with corporate executives and cross-functional teams
  • Engage with utility partners, economic agency partners, community partners, elected officials, and property representatives
  • Develop, lead, and implement power and site selection policies and initiatives
  • Manage multiple initiative workstreams, ensuring communication and timely execution
  • Collect and analyze internal and external information to develop strategic recommendations
  • Coordinate and support discussions among stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
  • Foster open, respectful, and professional communication within the team and across the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4 years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm, energy, economic development or policy experience
  • Exceptionally strong analytical ability, communication skills, and work ethic
  • Comfortable working with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently on multiple initiatives
  • Experience in leading projects
  • Advanced level of analysis and presentation development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to conduct research and analysis
  • Ability to create and support delivery of presentation materials to varying levels of audiences
  • Ability to prioritize work by setting and meeting realistic deadlines, forecasting and communicating changes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4+ years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm, energy, economic development, or policy experience
