About This Role

The Cook is a key member of the restaurant team responsible for preparing and presenting quality food to guests, adhering to preparation guidelines and presentation standards. This role focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent food service and safe food handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform prep cook tasks such as washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients
• Perform grill cook tasks, including setting up broiler, fryer, and grill stations based on line check sheets
• Prepare all products to guest specifications and follow plate presentation guides
• Complete prep, freezer pull, and temperature checklist sheets
• Practice safe food handling and storage, including waste control procedures
• Maintain equipment per operating standards
• Prioritize work according to restaurant and guest needs
• Build strong communication and rapport with leaders and co-workers

Requirements

• Ability to work well with others
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience a plus
