About This Role

This role acts as a liaison between business users and PLM teams to deploy PDM/PLM capabilities, primarily focusing on global digital transformation projects. The analyst will manage business requirements, support solution design, and coordinate validation with users.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct effective analyses to clarify and evaluate business requirements for PLM projects
  • Document requirements using various methods including process mapping, user stories, and functional/non-functional specifications
  • Perform gap analyses for new requirements and articulate business impact
  • Engage with stakeholders across local functions and global business units
  • Present requirements and analyses, including risk and impact assessments, to management
  • Support project governance and delivery of assigned initiatives
  • Ensure correct support model during solution development, UAT, and post Go-Live
  • Develop comprehensive end-to-end test cases for PLM development projects
  • Coordinate implementation of approved process improvements with PLM and IT/IS teams
  • Coordinate required trainings with the Seats US Development School

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science or related field OR 6 years work experience and education related to the degree field
  • Ability to enact cultural change management
  • Ability to solve problems and think strategically
  • Basic knowledge of CAD, PLM, business processes
  • Basic knowledge of requirements management and documentation
  • Ability to work across functional boundaries
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to generate written communication
  • Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Acts in accordance with company values

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science or related field or combination of 6 years work experience and education related to the degree field if no bachelor's degree.
  • 1 year of related experience in addition to meeting education requirement

  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) experience (Windchill and SmarTeam preferred)
  • Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience (CATIA V5 preferred)
