Physician Assistant

About This Role

This Physician Assistant role involves providing health readiness services to U.S. Military Reserve Service members as an independent contractor. The position primarily requires weekend availability in various locations across Georgia to support physical health assessments and documentation for readiness classification.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, including Behavioral Health issues
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system

Requirements

• Active PA license in the state where services are provided
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge and skills
• Able to work extended hours

Nice to Have

• Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health
• Experience with mobile medical services
• Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology
• Able to work in various locations, including remote military installations
• Able to travel, with weekend availability
