Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Home Health - PRN

About This Role

Serve patients in their homes as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, delivering high-quality skilled care and contributing to their treatment and recovery. This role focuses on one-on-one patient care within a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Physical Therapist to fulfill the defined patient-specific care plan
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure all patient needs are fully addressed
• Deliver high-quality skilled care to patients administering non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water and electrical modalities
• Thoroughly document care delivery daily in our EMR system
• Contribute to a culture of caring through individual accountability and teamwork

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy assistant with an associate degree in physical therapy
• Current State License to practice physical therapy
• Valid state driver’s license
• Auto liability insurance

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school of physical therapy assistant
• 1 year experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant preferred

Nice to Have

• One year experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
• Familiar and comfortable with technology
• HCHB experience
