Physical Therapy Assistant

About This Role

This Physical Therapy Assistant position involves administering physical therapy treatment programs under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, monitoring patient progress, and reporting on their response to treatment at Covenant Hobbs Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision of physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Administer treatment programs designed by and under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Monitor patients' progress and response to treatment
• Report deviations from the plan and goals to the Physical Therapist

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant License
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program

Nice to Have

• Degree from an accredited program (Neonatal Therapist CCH acute only)
• 1 year of experience in rehabilitation
