This Physical Therapy Assistant position involves administering physical therapy treatment programs under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, monitoring patient progress, and reporting on their response to treatment at Covenant Hobbs Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the provision of physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Administer treatment programs designed by and under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Monitor patients' progress and response to treatment
- Report deviations from the plan and goals to the Physical Therapist
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program
Nice to Have
- Degree from an accredited program (Neonatal Therapist CCH acute only)
- 1 year of experience in rehabilitation
