This Physical Therapist role involves examining and treating patients with physical impairments through modalities to improve mobility, function, and independent self-care. The position requires administering skilled care to clients in their homes, following physician's orders and established care plans.
Responsibilities
- Examine and treat patients with physical impairments using physical modalities
- Assist patients to improve mobility and function, independent self-care skills, and other skills necessary for daily living
- Administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services
- Teach family members and other members of the healthcare team
- Perform duties in accordance with physician's orders and established plan of care
Requirements
- Valid state driver's license
- Automobile liability insurance
- Dependable transportation in good working condition
- Ability to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
- Current PT license in the state of employment
