About This Role

Examine and treat patients with physical impairments through physical modalities, focusing on improving mobility, function, and independent self-care in a home health setting. Administer skilled care according to physician's orders and established care plans.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities
• Assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, and other skills necessary for daily living
• Administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services
• Teach the family and other members of the health care team
• Perform services in accordance with the physician’s orders and the established plan of care
• Work under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license
• Automobile liability insurance
• Dependable transportation kept in good working condition
• Ability to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
• Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of employment
