Responsibilities
- Deliver Physical Therapy and related services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising PT
- Supervise Rehab Technicians as applicable
- Manage patient cases effectively
- Maintain a professional demeanor reflecting dedication to excellence
- Comply with all applicable state and federal regulations governing physical therapy practice
- Support patients in improving functional abilities and skills
- Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust physical therapy program
- Advance clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-directed learning, and continuing education
- Maintain a current and valid state license and stay informed on developments in physical therapy and healthcare
- Understand and apply appropriate billing practices and treatment delivery models
- Follow infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with state practice act
Requirements
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
