About This Role

This Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position is responsible for direct patient care, planning, and implementing specific treatment programs at a PAM Health facility. The role involves working with a diverse patient population requiring extended hospital care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist
• Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices
• Facilitate the further development of physical therapy services
• Be flexible to meet the needs of the PAM Health system within various facilities

Requirements

• PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience preferred (not mandatory)

Nice to Have

• One year of clinical experience
• Prior inpatient hospital experience or desire to learn
