This Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position is responsible for direct patient care, planning, and implementing specific treatment programs at a PAM Health facility. The role involves working with a diverse patient population requiring extended hospital care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices
- Facilitate the further development of physical therapy services
- Be flexible to meet the needs of the PAM Health system within various facilities
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- One year of clinical experience preferred (not mandatory)
Nice to Have
- One year of clinical experience
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or desire to learn
Certifications
Current BLS certification
