About This Role

This role involves providing high-quality physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. It focuses on patient care, treatment plan development, and maintaining positive client relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act
• Assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out prescribed treatment programs
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities
• Develop treatment plans and supervise assistants and aides
• Contribute to case management and provide quality patient care
• Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients
• Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff

Requirements

• Valid state license, registration or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants
