This Phlebotomy Tech I position at Sonora Quest Laboratories supports life-saving medical testing and patient care through the collection and handling of biological specimens. Responsibilities

• Collect and receive biological specimens into the department
• Properly enter specimens into the company’s computer system
• Prepare samples for analytical testing
• Distribute specimens to the proper analytical area
• Perform specified analytical testing as assigned
• Follow established policies, procedures, regulatory, and accreditation requirements

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement of 18
• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience
• Basic knowledge of department resource materials
• Ability to obtain DHS Fingerprinting Certification if required
• Valid state driver's license for float positions if required
• Ability to travel and work flexible hours for float positions

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent may be required dependent on state regulatory requirements.
• Previous phlebotomy experience or completion of a phlebotomy program.
