About This Role

Collect and process blood and other laboratory samples, accurately enter physician orders, and maintain confidentiality for patient data within a professional healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Collects and processes blood and other laboratory samples
• Enters physician orders in Meditech accurately
• Accurately labels and processes specimens
• Maintains confidentiality for patient data
• Displays a professional image and attitude when performing ALL duties/responsibilities

Requirements

• High school graduate
• Sufficient knowledge of English, Spelling, Typing, and Math
• Completion of Phlebotomy training through an accredited program
• Physically able to perform all job duties

Qualifications

• High school graduate with sufficient knowledge of English, Spelling, Typing, and Math. Completion of Phlebotomy training through an accredited program.
• Some phlebotomy experience preferred.

Nice to Have

• Certification in Phlebotomy
• Some phlebotomy experience
