About This Role

This instructor position is crucial for students to achieve mastery of course, program, and institutional learning outcomes by preparing and delivering high-quality instruction. The role involves fostering a positive learning environment, utilizing diverse teaching methodologies, and collaborating with colleagues for program and student development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lessons and course materials in accordance with the college's curriculum
• Deliver instruction to students through dynamic and varied instructional techniques
• Maintain regular and open communication with students regarding their progress, attendance, and performance
• Provide proactive academic advising, tutoring, and office hours to assist students with course material
• Regularly assess student learning outcomes and implement strategies to enhance student performance
• Utilize student achievement and learning data to contribute to program improvement processes
• Participate in departmental meetings, industry advisory boards, and faculty development activities
• Adhere to institutional, accreditation, and regulatory standards
• Document grades, attendance, student advising, and other required information in a timely manner
• Ensure classroom and lab equipment is available and in good working condition

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technology Certificate of Achievement or Registered Pharmacist (RPh)
• State Pharmacy Technician License
• CPhT or EXCPT
• 2 years' PhT experience in a pharmacy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• 2 years' PhT experience in a pharmacy
