Pharmacist

About This Role

VytlOne is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to cover shifts at The Pharmacy at Hunt in Greenville, TX. This role provides outpatient pharmacy services within a care transition model, working day shifts with no nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions issued by Physicians or other authorized prescribers to ensure accuracy and determine necessary formulas and ingredients.
• Compound medications using standard procedures such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, if applicable.
• Answer questions and provide information to pharmacy customers regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain established procedures for quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
• Enter patient data, prescribed medication, and cost information to manage pharmacy files, charge systems, and inventory.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience
• Current license in good standing to practice pharmacy in the state of Texas
• Ability to supervise pharmacy staff
• Strong communication skills
• Computer experience mandatory
