This Clinical Pharmacist position involves filling medication orders, monitoring patient therapies, and providing drug information at Gateway Regional Medical Center. The role ensures compliance with pharmacy policies and regulations, contributing to improved medication usage processes.
Responsibilities
- Fill orders for medications
- Monitor patient medication therapies
- Provide drug information
- Verify medication orders
- Supervise and direct support personnel
- Assume essential responsibilities and duties of the pharmacy manager in their absence
- Participate in medication usage process improvement activities
- Serve as a resource person concerning pharmacy policies and procedures and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy, Pharm.D.
- Registered pharmacist Illinois licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross ACLS)
Qualifications
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy, Pharm.D.
- New Graduates welcome; health-system pharmacy experience preferred.
