Pharmacist

About This Role

As a Pharmacist, you will ensure safe medication use and positively impact patient well-being by overseeing daily pharmacy operations and contributing to policy development. Your expertise will be crucial in integrating medication management into rehabilitative care and making crucial management decisions and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations
• Contribute to the development of pharmacy-specific policies and procedures in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agency regulations
• Actively participate in the interdisciplinary team, leveraging critical information for positive patient outcomes
• Accurately interpret, compound, and dispense medication in adherence to legal and professional pharmacy standards

Requirements

• State pharmacy board licensure in good standing, for the state in which the hospital is located
• Completion of a degree from an accredited pharmacy program or equivalent

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited pharmacy program or equivalent

Nice to Have

• 1 year of supervisory experience
