Personal Lines Account Manager

About This Role

Manage client relationships and administrative processes for personal lines insurance policies. Ensure excellent client service by overseeing renewals, remarkets, invoicing, and claims assistance, while also mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records, review and bind renewals, remarket, and quote additional lines of business
• Ensure clients' assets are protected through comprehensive insurance products and eliminate coverage gaps
• Collaborate with underwriters to find creative solutions for customer needs
• Track expiration, past due renewals, and A/R reports to ensure timely servicing
• Create and distribute client invoicing for new business, renewals, and premium-bearing endorsements; collect outstanding balances
• Facilitate client claims processes as needed
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards; recommend corrective actions
• Communicate transparently with supervisor regarding obstacles and performance expectations
• Work with commercial sales personnel to develop solutions for mutual clients
• Uphold IOA core values and demonstrate integrity and leadership

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience
• Active state licensing (2-20 or 20-44)
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Strong multi-tasking, organizational, delegation, and decision-making skills
• High accuracy in handling large work volumes
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent)
• 5+ years of industry experience
