Direct and coordinate store operations activities when management is absent to ensure efficiency and economy, contributing to the financial best interest of the store. Monitor associate adherence to company policies and assist customers.
Responsibilities
- Monitor associate’s adherence to company policies
- Run cashier register and courtesy counter desk and handle customer concerns efficiently
- Understand and be familiar with store layout, location of safety and emergency equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas, providing feedback to department managers
- Maintain time clock in absence of Store Director or specified department manager
- Close store: lock all doors, turn off lights, arm store, etc.
- Know product locations in the store to assist customers
- Maintain a clean, attractive and well stocked store
- Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines
- Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations
- Follow Guest Experience Guidelines
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills
- Suggestive Selling/Knowledge of Products
- Detail Oriented
Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- One year of retail or related experience preferred
