Provide direct patient care and technical duties, including monitoring and educating patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. This float position requires flexibility to work across multiple clinics in the Minneapolis area.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct one-on-one patient care to ensure safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Measure and record patient statistics
- Perform patient observations and hemodialysis machine setup
- Educate patients on Kidney Dialysis related topics
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians including nurses, dietitians, and social workers
- Train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed
Requirements
- Desire to enter the health care field to care for other people in need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable working around blood and needles
- Comfortable mixing acid or bicarb
- Flexibility and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

- BONENT Certified
- Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Phlebotomy certification
