Assist patients with daily living tasks and basic hygiene under the direction of licensed personnel. Perform vital signs, documentation, and help with patient mobility to ensure quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs accurately and within established time frame
- Complete all documentation in the medical record as required
- Interact with patients and their families effectively
- Assist patients with basic hygiene tasks, including bathing, dressing, and using the toilet
- Help patients turn and reposition themselves in bed and move between bed and wheelchair
Requirements
- 1-2 years healthcare experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
- Demonstrated typing skills and computer experience
- Good interpersonal, organizational, and oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift and transport patients using appropriate physical technique
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years healthcare experience required
