Parts Specialist

About This Role

The Parts Specialist at O'Reilly Auto Parts will deliver exceptional service to both retail and installer customers, aiding them with merchandise selection and supporting store management with various assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store by accurately looking up parts, quoting prices, and recommending items
• Accurately maintain and secure the cash drawer, process transactions, and handle exchanges and returns
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner
• Assist with daily tasks including freight receival, stocking shelves, and cleaning
• Perform various in-store services for customers, such as testing and charging batteries
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when business needs dictate

Requirements

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
• Ability to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
