Part Time Truck Driver CDL A No Touch

About This Role

This part-time position involves driving a Class A CDL truck for dedicated routes delivering auto parts primarily in KY, OH, AL, and TN, ensuring safe and timely no-touch freight transport. The role offers consistent daily schedules and opportunities for weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SOLO to KY, OH, AL, TN following local home daily routes
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Perform other assigned duties including assisting in loading/unloading freight if required by customer

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Ability to pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check (including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)
• Ability to pass a DOT physical
• Ability to pass a Ryder road test
• Appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Verifiable Class A CDL experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle (9 months in past 3 years, OR 2 years in past 5 years, OR 5 years in past 10 years)
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
• Must be able to drive manual transmission

Qualifications

• 9 months of Class A CDL verifiable tractor trailer experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years experience within the last 10 years
