Part-Time Sales Associate

About This Role

This Part-Time Sales Associate will generate sales, build customer relationships, and maintain store visual standards for Vince by actively engaging with customers and utilizing POS and email systems.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals
• Demonstrate complete knowledge of merchandise features and benefits to maximize sales opportunities
• Identify customer needs and overcome objections
• Responsible for client development beyond the initial transaction using phone, email, and written follow-up
• Maintain the housekeeping and visual standards of the store
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) register system and email systems
• Safeguard the store's inventory by adhering to loss prevention programs
• Follow all store operational policies and procedures
• Manage client book and perform clienteling

Requirements

• Sales-driven, goal-oriented individual
• Positive, high-energy, friendly, outgoing and engaging personality
• Willingness to initiate contact with customers and identify shopping needs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate retail POS system, Word, Excel, and email
• Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects weighing up to 35 pounds
• Ability to use ladders or stairs

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail sales is preferred but not required
